Your Mobile Legal and Business Service Provider
CCFSA is a non profit agency advocating for affordable business and legal services to under-served communities in Houston TX and Washington D.C.
We offer immigration services through our Immigration Outreach Program.
How We Deliver Services
CCFSA’s goal is to provide quality business and legal services to our clients through attorneys, paralegals and legal case managers. To that end, CCFSA prefers to meet directly with clients in their home, office, school or community.
One of the primary benefits of providing mobile services is the relationship we build with the clients. We find that client's are more likely to share additional concerns that may be impacting their quality of life and housing stability when they are in an evironment that is familiar to them.
Another key benefit of providing mobile services is the reduction in the need for follow-ups when preparing applications. It is a common occurrence for clients to forget critical documents when meeting with them in our office. These situations can cause processing delays and in some cases clients will never return. However, when we are in the home or in a nearby location we have greater success in obtaining the documentation we need in order to assist our clients.
Confidentiality
CCFSA’s program staff of attorneys, paralegals and legal case managers and volunteers respect the confidentiality of all information disclosed by each client. Information is never released to outside parties unless the client has expressly granted his/her written permission.
Client Fees
CCFSA is a Texas nonprofit and IRS recognized 501c3. Because private and public funding for immigration counseling programs is scarce, our programs depend on fees paid by our clients. At the outset of a case, fees for service are agreed upon by the staff member and the client. Our fee schedule is reasonable and we ask that all clients cooperate in paying all fees before we submit their cases. Clients must pay all application fees required by the USCIS in order to process their case.
