Wanda M. Wright has worked under Attorney Saundra Lamb as a Paralegal since 2003.  She served as a Police Officer for 11 years where she began her work in community services.  She transitioned from law enforcement to the corporate arena in order to gain business experience.

In 1996, she began working with a local telecom company and was promoted to Project Manager.  Her responsibilities included management and oversight of multi-million dollar projects and supervision of project team members and technicians.

She left telecom in 2006 and began to work full time in community services.  From 2009 through 2012 she served as a Case Manager under the Homeless Prevention Program and assisted over 500 families in applying for financial assistance to prevent eviction and homelessness.

She discovered her gift and passion in advocating for the rights of low income families and immigrants.  She has provided excellent support for business services, records correction and application assistance.  As word spread of her assistance to immigrants, she began receiving more requests for immigration advocacy on issues whose solutions are commonly known to US born residents in the areas of housing and workers rights.  After consulting with Attorney Lamb about the growing need for bridge services to assist immigrants transitioning to life in the U.S., the Community Center for Social Advocacy was created.

Saundra Lincoln Lamb, Esq. has been an attorney in good standing with the State Supreme Court in Des Moines, Iowa 1977. During her career she has served the US Department of Justice, the District of Columbia Board of Parole as General Counsel, and numerous other positions in both the private public sectors.  She is qualified as an attorney in good standing to represent matters brought before the USCIS on behalf of individuals seeking a particular status.

Since the development of the Community Law Center, Attorney Lamb remains passionate about prevention of legal issues when possible.   CLC focuses on a pressing concern to address personal, administrative, governmental matters before they become legal entanglements that the under-served community has become less and less equipped to handle on their own.  That role of advocacy and service is where Attorney Lamb has focused her energies over the past 10 years.  With Attorney Lamb at the helm, CLC’s chief goal is to empower the community to be more informed about conducting their personal business properly and making better decisions based on factual information and not wrongful or error filled speculation.
